The Jefferson County Board of Education announces the availability of a free breakfast and lunch each day for all students, regardless of income, for the 2025-2026 school year. Under the Community Eligibility Provision, applications will not need to be completed to be eligible for the free meals.

TALES Families: TALES is currently without power, due to a regional outage. We are in contact with Potomac Edison for updates. Today's the day...Spring Fling from 4:00- 7:00pm! Join us for dinner: Hot dogs, chips, pasta salad, dessert, and tea/lemonade. Price: $5.00 Games for the kids: $2.00 per wristband - all games included!! Cake Walk, Gaga Ball, Moon Bounce, and more! Silent Auction - Classroom baskets are amazing! Ticket Raffle - Many wonderful items from local businesses!! Separate Raffle for larger items!! This is a CASH ONLY event. We can't wait to see you there!

JCS Community: All activities and events are canceled for Wednesday, February 12, 2025, due to road conditions.

It's amazing to think about, but we've already grown 100 days smarter!! Our T.A. Terriers had an absolute blast celebrating the 100th Day!! 💜🩵

JCS Community: All Jefferson County Schools (Pre-K - 12) are closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, due to road conditions. Many roads in Jefferson County are covered in snow, with precipitation expected to continue through the evening and temperatures remaining below freezing. Students and staff will operate on a Non-Traditional Instruction Day schedule; this is the final NTID day. JCS offices will open at 10 am; essential personnel should contact their supervisor for scheduling.

JCS Community: JCS will operate on a 3-hour early dismissal on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, due to weather. This allows our students to be in school with their teachers, eat breakfast and lunch, and be home before any unsafe road conditions.  All afternoon and evening activities are canceled. AlphaBEST after-school care and Boys and Girls Club transportation will not run today.
